Program Director

Job Description
Oversees Council training programs in New Hampshire and Vermont in the areas of Occupational Safety Training, Defensive Driving, Forklift and First Aid/CPR.  This position is also responsible for state-wide annual safety conferences and symposiums held in New Hampshire.  The Program Director provides strong leadership skills in scheduling training and health education.  The Program Director is also responsible for the day to day operation of the training programs, including the logistics of scheduling and promoting safety and health courses, hiring and supervision of staff,  budget preparation and monitoring, contract management, promotion of the program to members and development of new programs within the service area. 

Job Requirements
Must have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills, strong organizational skills, experience using miscroft office, and a willingness to travel throughout New England.  Sales and membership association experience preferred.  Knowledge of state and federal regulations in the areas of safety and health a plus.  Valid drivers license required. 

Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and at least three years related management of supervisory experience required.
